At our Term 1 meeting on 24 February, Green Schools Collective along with Mosman Council announced the launch of the 2026 Speaking 4 the Planet competition.
Speaking 4 the Planet is a sustainability competition centered on creative environmental communication. Participants from schools are invited to develop and present creative works aligned with this year’s theme: “Sustainable cities and communities.” The goal is to highlight existing environmental issues, propose solutions, or imagine a better future through artistic expression.
The event will take place on Thursday, 12th November, at Taronga Zoo. You can find all Speaking 4 the Planet competition guidelines below, with full details and examples here. We look forward to seeing yours and your school’s creative ideas develop throughout the year!
